New here

New to the forum and not surprised to hear that Jaguar has yet another crossover in the pipeline. If it follows the new design language of the new I-Pace or E Pace, it should look pretty good.

I just hope that Jaguar does enough to distinguish it from both of those models. There is a risk in providing too many similar options as they will cannibalize sales of each other.

Welcome.

Lucky for us we don't have to look too far for examples. The Mercedes GLA and BMW X2, even the new Lexus UX are around what the E-Pace should be.

Thanks. The BMW X2 doesn't seem to be doing too well sales wise, which suggests that blurring the lines between crossover and hatchback is a tricky formula to get right. Practicality has become a very important aspect for purchase.

Its a niche target audience for sure, and anyone whos interested in something like the X2 should have a stronger interest with performance and sporty driving characteristics. The new M35i variant is the most powerful 2.0l turbo four the brand has ever produced.
