It's not exactly a Project 8 car, but apparently Jaguar is planning a high-performance version of the I-Pace.

The boss of Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations arm has said it’s a question of “when, not if” the firm builds an SVR version of the I-Pace battery-electric SUV.

Michael van der Sande made the admission to Autocar, despite also acknowledging that a timeline and official development plan for the car is not yet in place. SVO is prioritising the roll-out of more volume-focused models.

I am curious to see what they will deliver. A new XJ is apparently in the works, could a hot version of it be next as well?

I heard that as well, I can't wait to see what they come up with before they really start switching to EVs.

Hotter SVR models would be a start, along the lines of what Mercedes does and BMW to a lesser extent.
